Christmas Party at Carlton Hotel Baglioni
I always love to support great cause especially when it comes with extending a helping hand to those that are less privileged. Last night was a Christmas party hosted by Alessandro Enriquez, Riccardo Pozzoli and Stefano Cavaleri for Orphanaid Africa. It is a grassroots non-profit seeking to redress causes and symptoms of poverty in West Africa. This organization act in partnership with selected beneficiaries to identify and eliminate specific constraints but especially for orphaned children in Liberia. In a way that will assist them in providing food, shelter, medical care, education, and loving guardianship. This is an all-volunteer organization with no overhead, funded primarily by individual and community donations.
During the night two limited edition pochettes in a form of printed old style expresso maker and coffee beans hankies where sold, mainly for this cause. These pochettes were designed by Alessandro Enriquez designer and owner of An Italian Theory in collaboration with the Ferucci Milano young entrepreneurs; Pozzoli and Cavaleri. It is also a great way to reunite with friends in the fashion industry before they leave for the holidays and at the same time to spend to help others – after all this is the true meaning of Christmas!
