9:00 -10: 30hr AT HOME
Milan, Italy

Ciao everyone!  I normally allot one hour of my time doing a simple make-up and the time to dress-up. Then, 30 minutes to walk to the first fashion show of the day. Obviously,  I was dress into occasion which seem to coincide with the shows for the day. I’ve choosen the floral SHIRTAPORTER coat and pencil skirt and the conflicting animalier printed chiffon shirt from Guess.  Well, of course I won’t forget the Sarah Borghi Hosiery zigzag socks to keep me warm throughout the day. On the contrary, I just realize how am I into prints! This is insane…

10:30-11:00hr BLUGIRL
Nobile Palazzo Serbelloni, Corso Venezia, 16
Let me be brief and concise for my Milan Fashion Week diary and fashion show reviews. So my second day started with the Blugirl fashion show. This collection is divided into boyish and gentle personalities. With models wearing a mannish suit in classic Prince of Wales and pied de poule checks or in grainy tweeds. Definitely there is an underlying romanticism through the long dresses midi skirts made of duchesse silk with birds, fruits and flowers motifs. The high-waist georgette dresses worn over heavy knitwear formula and brogues to emphasis Made in Italy is the look that I can see myself on this collection. You can view the finale HERE.

19:00-19:45hr BYBLOS MILANO
 Palazzo del Senato, Via Senato,10
I was almost catching my breath when I arrived at the Byblos Milano. The show started two minutes before I found my seat.  And what is nice about fashion shows is that your heart is bombarding with excitement once the music starts and the models started walking the runway. Quite honestly, this is the show that I enjoyed a lot. This season is all about sport couture a style I can relate to.  There is also the biker world, a model wearing a bomber jacket  with an apparent discordance of silver and blue with the turtle neck knit and a jacquard black skirt. The Byblos DNA are seen vividly on the volume of fabrics, pleats and silhouettes of the dresses and the trousers and the outerwears. This collection is the result of the influences of two opposing artists, the ambidextrous Tobias Rehberger and the insurgent Shozo Shimamoto have rendered themselves in union to create an explodable “blow to kingdom come” idea of femininity! Watch the finale HERE.

19:45-20:30 MEISSEN COUTURE 1710
Villa Meissen, Via Montenapoleone, 3
I’ve changed into a casual attire for the night. That you could have seen on my instagram @rosalyescueta.  Transferring from Via Senato to Via Montenapoleone is  easy because these two places are near each other. The presentation at Meissen Couture is beyond my expectation. It’s somehow star-studded as Italian Vogue Editor-in-Chief Frabca Sozzani to super model Karolina Kurkova was there. The theme is all about “Among the Wild Flowers” which is literally seen all over the couture gowns. This adage sums-up the whole collection.

To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.”
– William Blake

The collection that interprets the strength and energy of wildflowers, and translates them into wonderful clothes, absolutely elegant, made unique by floral inserts sewn by hand and mixed with small pearls and small crystals on silk , chiffon, organza and tulle. It is also inspired by the history and inexhaustible artistic production of Meissen that has always made the flowers protagonists of his finest creations. From the classics to new porcelain collections of haute couture, jewelry and home, the brand MEISSEN, born more than three centuries years ago, continues to be the most refined expression of culture and European luxury. During the presentation, where the models paraded on the background of colorful walls of colorful flowers Christian Kurtzke, CEO Worldwide Meissen and Ileana Turrini, Head of External Relations, welcomed, among the many guests present, two very special guest: the beautiful Olympic champion Nadia Heidemann fencing and the young and aristocratic German actress Alicia von Rittberg, last year alongside Brad Pitt in the American film “Fury”. You can see the actual photo of my coverage HERE.

Just Cavalli Store, Corso Matteotti, 18
Almost tired but happy. It’s duty call my friends. Well, not really. My real intentions to pass by Just Cavalli party is to see some friends. Also the promising rapper Little Simz is in town, so what a great way to have a glass of champagne and listen to her sing! I was also with my friends Giorgio, Carmen, Teodora and Federico that time. It was a fun night but I decided to go home early to rest and get energized for the third day. Hope you enjoy reading my diary and see you on the next post. You can see my outfit for the night HERE, don’t mind my photo, I was a little exasperated. As always, I want to hear your thoughts. Do you like this comprehensive diary? Which collection you like? Do you like my outfit?
